Description:
Serpent Mound in Adams County and Alligator Mound in Licking County are two of Ohio's most iconic historical sites, yet much about these ancient works of art remains mysterious. Dr. Brad Lepper, curator of Archaeology for the Ohio Historical Society, will give a presentatioin at Serpent Mound drawing on his extensive research into the age, meaning and location of these effigy mounds. Dr. Lepper will give a short talk, answer questions and then take visitors on an interpretive walk around the Serpent Mound and the surrounding grounds.

This summer, the Jazz Arts Group will take jazz to a wilder place as the Columbus Jazz Orchestra takes center stage at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium for JazZoo's fifth season! The four-concert series returns to the Water's Edge Events Park at the Columbus Zoo providing a beautiful waterfront setting along the O'Shaughnessy Reservoir. Gates open at 6:30 PM with concerts beginning at 8 PM.
